Consultation Agreement

What both sides agree to when a consultation is arranged. These terms are confirmed in writing before any appointment goes ahead.

What a consultation is

A structured, private conversation about a relationship or communication topic that you define at the start of the session. The consultant facilitates the discussion, keeps it on the agreed topic, and helps identify practical steps that are within your own control.

What it is not

Consultations are limited to relationship and communication discussion. They are not therapy, counselling, psychological treatment, medical care, legal advice or crisis response.

Participation

  • All participants must be 18 or over.
  • Where two people attend, both must agree freely to attend.
  • Either person may pause, decline a topic, or end the session at any point.
  • Recording a session by any party is not permitted unless agreed in writing in advance.

Records

Any notes kept, and the reason for keeping them, are explained to you before the appointment is confirmed. You may ask what is recorded and ask for it to be deleted.

Ending or declining a consultation

The consultant will end or decline a session where there is risk of harm, coercion or abuse, where a participant is not attending freely, where the need falls outside this service, or where conduct makes a respectful conversation impossible. This will be stated plainly and, where relevant, in writing.

Fees, cancellation and rescheduling

Fees, cancellation windows and rescheduling terms are confirmed in writing before the appointment and form part of this agreement.

Concerns

If any part of a consultation felt wrong to you, say so — at the time or afterwards. Write to management@nuviorarelationships.online and you will receive a written response.
